Welcome to St. Mark's

Jesus said to them, "Go into all the world and proclaim the good news to the whole creation."  Mark 26: 15 (NRSV).

Here at St. Mark's Episcopal Church you will explore Scripture of the Judaic and Christian Churches, learn from and become part of the two thousand year Apostolic heritage of Catholic and Protestant Reformation traditions, and critically discern gifts given to you by God.

As you grow as a baptized Christian, the Spirit will guide you in taking the Good News of Jesus Christ, in words and acts, to all you meet in this valley and where ever you may travel.

Our congregation is blessed to have its home in a beautiful and historic building, dedicated to our patron Saint Mark the Apostle of Jesus.

As you look around this site, you will learn of our historic place in Northumberland, of resources to help you in your Christian formation, of the beauty of Anglican prayer book worship, and of the transformation that is possible for you through our one Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

St. Mark’s is blessed by a shared ministry with Christ Church, Milton; another of the historic Episcopal Churches of the Susquehanna Valley. As a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, you will worship and work with the Christians of Christ Church to touch the lives of God’s children in both communities and learn about evangelism of the unchurched. No church has matured until it plants new churches. By mutual support we shall grow Christ Church and they shall grow St. Mark’s. Then, …

Come, worship with us, and become an instrument of praise to our Lord.
